The village of Nerwa (Narwah, נירוה, נירוא, نيروه), in Iraqi-Kurdistan.
According to a former resident, the village did not have a synagogue in her time but there was a cemetery.
The former residents account differs from the account of Nerwa given in Mordechai Yonah's encyclopedia in terms of the size of the village and the residents.
