The former Jewish quarter in Ganja (Gəncə, גנכ'ה), Azerbaijan (Azərbaycan, אזרבייג'ן).
Ganja (Gəncə), is Azerbaijan's third largest city and has long been a cultural center for much of the region. It even briefly served as the capital of the brief Azerbaijan Democratic Republic (1918-1920). While its peak Jewish population is unknown, this neighborhood was reported by several locals and one remaining elderly Jewish woman to be the location of a Jewish quarter of the city. No identifiably religious structures remain.
