Description

Located in the Ortakoy neighborhood, the Etz Ahayim Synagogue is one of theoldest Synagogues in Istanbul. It is an Ashkenazi Synagogue, and was reconstructed in the 18th century, as well as in 1941 after a fire destroyed everything but the marble Aron.
