The village of Utmah Ba'dan (Ba'den, עותמה בעדאן, عتمة بعدان), in the Ba'dan (בעדאן, بعدان) region of Ibb (אב, اب) Yemen (תימן, اليمن).
חיו יהודים בכפר הזה לפני העלייה הגדולה.
عاش يهودين في هذا الموضع في القرن العشرين.
Utmah Ba'dan had a Jewish community of a few dozen families. There was one central synagogue in the village and occasionally there would be a secondary minyan in someone's home. Boys would learn in the Bet Midrash in the synagogue which the local Mori. The synagogue was one large room and men would sit on the floor on mats and/or carpets.
According to some, buried near the village is the grave of Al-Maqshari, the uncle of Rabbi Shalom Shabazzi and it is in his merit that the village had an abudnant supply of water.
