The village of Haz (חאז, حاز), Yemen (תימן, اليمن).
The Jews in this village lived outside the walled area which housed the local Muslim population. In their area, there were 3 synagogues, divided by family, and also pools for swimming and ritual cleansing.
Water came from a water source called Sayali (סיאלי, السيالي), which was nearby.
