The village of Bayt Al-Suraymi (בית צורימי, بيت الصريمي), in the Rada'a (רדאע, رداع) region of Yemen (תימן, اليمن).
The village had a Jewish presence, they were primarily farmers and in handcrafts.
Bayt Al-Suraymi had two synagogues, one in the house of Harbi and one in the house of Salem Yihya. The Harbi synagogue was also used as a bet midrash.
Many of the nearby communities did not have enough men to for a minyan, so they would come to Bayt Al-Suraymi for Shabbat and holiday prayers.
