The village of Jalilah (גלילה, الجليلة) in Yemen (תימן, اليمن). It is in the Al-Dhali' (אלצ'אלע, الضالع) region, east of Taizz (תעיז, تعز).
عاش يهودين في هذا الموضع في القرن العشرين.
Jalilah once had about 20-30 Jewish families. There were multiple synagogues in the village. One was adjacent to the San'ani home. The Cohen family turned part of their home into an inn for visiting scholars and travelers. There was also a synagogue adjacent to the Sheibi house. The cemetery was outside the village.
There was a British army outpost/ camp not far from the village and also an airfield nearby.
