Lycee Yabne, Istanbul, Turkey

B’nai B’rith maintained two high schools: Lycee Yabne (Midhava Yabne) and Lycee de Galata-Serai (probably for girls) Jewish school in Istanbu. These schools moved several times; Yabne was first located on the rue Yemenidji; later, rue Hoda Alia, still later, rue Drogmanet. It finally moved behind the Russian (Soviet) Embassy, the final address of the school appears to be rue Coumbaradji. (Kumbaraci)
