The village of Algbari (الجبري, אגברי, الغبري), in Yemen (תימן, اليمن).
The village was part of a triangle of three villages, the other two were Al-Makaleh and Dar Said.
In Algbari, the synagogue was near the Oshri house but not attached to it and there was a midrash adjacent to the synagogue. Women would sit in the courtyard during prayers and there was a sink in the courtyard.
For mikveh, the ladies would go to the river. School was only for boys.
Interview with S. Garameh (who also wrote a book on the village).
