The village of Dar Amar (דאר עמר, دار عمر), Yemen (תימן, اليمن). The village is near Sana'a.
Dar Amar had a population of about 80 families before the community left. There was one synagogue and it was adjacent to the beth midrash. The Jews lived in a walled off area but near the Muslims. The houses were generally 2-3 stories and the local terrain was flat, not so hilly.
