The first Jewish cemetery in Singapore, on Orchard Road. Founded in 1841, this cemetery was reclaimed by the government in 1983 and they built a train station on it. The bodies were moved to another cemetery.
The Singapore Jewish community was comprised mainly of Iraqi Jews, and followed Baghdadi customs.
