The Syrian city of Bosra (Busra, بصرى).
Description
Supposed birth place of the Rabbi Resh Lakish (Rabbi Shimon Ben Lakish), a rabbi mentioned in the Talmud.
The city is also a UNESCO site and has suffered much damage during the current Syrian civil war.
