Statue of Mordechai Frizis (1 January 1893 – 5 December 1940) in Chalcis (Chalkida), Greece.

Description

Frizis was a Jewish solider in the Greek army from Chalcis, and he fought in World War I, the Russian Civil War, the Turkish War of Independence, and the Greco-Italian War. He died in battle in 1940.
