Approximate location of the forced concentration camp of Buq Buq (Bug Bug), currently located in Egypt.
This labor camp housed Libyan Jews, primarily from Tripoli, during 1942. It housed those who were not deported, along with Sidi Azzaz and Jado. At Buq Buq, the Jews helped build the roads and railroads leading to the front. Some sources list Moshe Haddad, a Libyan Jew as the individual overseeing the work done.
