The Bet Knesset Hadash (New Synagogue) in the Iranian Kurdistan town of Saqqez (Sakiz, Saghez, Saqez, Saqqiz, Saqiz, סקיז ,سهقز, سقز).
Description
This synagogue was located behind the Knishta Rabta and built on an open field that was behind it. The original plan was to only have two synagogues, this one and the Knishta Rabta but it was decided that the community can't abandon a synagogue, so they maintained the Knishta Zurta as well.
